There are many different ways to learn, grow, and develop as a person. Identifying and fixing your weaknesses is useful and often necessary, but research in Positive Psychology has shown that identifying strengths and using them in new ways can significantly contribute to your well-being and quality of life. In this workshop we'll use a strengths-based approach to to explore the things that energize you, the things that you do without being asked, and ultimately the things you already do really well that can contribute to your positive development. We'll engage in a series of hands-on activities and discussions before using ocean rafting as an experience to ground everything we've learned. If the weather impedes our ability to ocean raft we'll learn how to make an epic sandcastle with the same strengths-based lens.
